Child Prostitution Ads on Google

Filed Under general · Tagged:

According to Search Engine Roundtable, Google is profiting from child prostitution.  That’s about as low as it gets.  No, it IS as low as it gets.  I don’t even want to look at the results pages their linking to, to see if the ads still appear, but SE Roundtable is a highly respected source and if they say the ads are there, then I believe it.

That is absolutely horrible if that’s true…especially considering how tough G is on other things like gambling. I have a section for sports books on my site (as in sports reading, not gambling) and anytime I put the words “sports” and “books” together and try to submit an AdWords ad it won’t let me. But child pornography somehow slips through the cracks…unbelievable, even if it is with dynamic keywords

Yea, it was rather shocking. If I hadn’t heard about it from a reputable source, I’d not have believed it myself.
